  • 3 medium eggs
  • 1 jar of plain white yogurt (125 ml)
  • 2 jars of 00 flour
  • 1 jar of corn starch or potato starch (if not, use 1 jar of 00 flour)
  • 1 jar of seed oil
  • 1 jar of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar of milk
  • 1 sachet of instant yeast for savory pies (15 g)
  • Salt to taste.
  • 100 gr of cooked ham (or another cured meat of your choice between mortadella, salami, raw ham, speck)
  • 100 gr of provolone (or another aged cheese of your choice such as Emmentaler or scamorza)
  • 200 gr of zucchini and carrots (or 2-3 mixed vegetables including peppers, peas, olives, aubergines, dried tomatoes)

Preparation of the 7 jars salted cake

Break the eggs into a bowl, pour in the jar of white yogurt and use the jar as a measuring cup for the other ingredients.
Pour in the seed oil, milk and Parmesan cheese and mix with an electric mixer or a hand whisk.Place the flour in a sieve and gradually incorporate it into the dough, add the instant yeast, a pinch of salt and continue mixing.
Your base dough is ready!
At this point, add the ingredients chosen for the filling, mixing them with the dough.
To fill the 7 jars of salted cake, just cut the selected salami and cheese into cubes, even of medium size (eg cooked ham and provola).
Vegetables, on the other hand, should be cut into small pieces, or to julienne with a potato peeler, to facilitate cooking or you can lightly blanch them before adding them to the dough (eg zucchini and carrots).
Pour the mixture into a heavily oiled 22-24 cm cake pan, or lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° static function for about 40 minutes or until the surface of the quiche is golden brown.
